We primarily process the personal data that we receive from our customers and other business partners as part of our business relationship with them and other persons involved or that we collect from their users when operating our websites, apps and other applications.<\/p>

Data that is transmitted to us via contact forms is used by us exclusively for a specific purpose and within the company. The data is treated confidentially and is not passed on or sold to third parties.<\/p>

Where permitted, we obtain certain data from publicly accessible sources. In addition to the data that you provide to us directly, the categories of personal data that we receive about you from third parties include, in particular, information from public registers and information about you from the media and the Internet (only if this is appropriate in a specific case, e.g. as part of a job application, press review, marketing\/sales, etc.). We primarily use the personal data we collect to conclude and process our contracts with our customers and business partners, as part of our promotional activities with our customers and the purchase of products and services from our suppliers and subcontractors, as well as to fulfil our legal obligations in Switzerland and abroad. If you work for such a customer or business partner, your personal data may of course also be affected in this function.<\/p>

In addition, we also process personal data of you and other persons, where permitted and where we deem it appropriate, for the following purposes in which we (and sometimes third parties) have a legitimate interest corresponding to the purpose:<\/p>

    If you have given us your consent to process your personal data for specific purposes (for example, when you register to receive newsletters), we will process your personal data within the scope of and based on this consent, unless we have another legal basis and require one.     We use Google Analytics to analyse website usage. The data obtained from this is used to optimise our website and advertising measures.<\/p>

    Google Analytics is provided to us by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google processes the website usage data on our behalf and is contractually obliged to take measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of the processed data.<\/p>

    The following data is recorded during your visit to the website:<\/p>

    • Pages viewed;<\/li>
    • Orders including sales and products ordered;<\/li>
    • The achievement of “website goals” (e.g. contact enquiries and newsletter registrations);<\/li>
    • Your behaviour on the pages (e.g. length of stay, clicks, scrolling behaviour);<\/li>
    • Your approximate location (country and city);<\/li>
    • Your IP address (in abbreviated form, so that no clear assignment is possible);<\/li>
    • Technical information such as browser, internet provider, end device and screen resolution;<\/li>
    • Source of origin of your visit (i.e. via which website or advertising medium you came to us);<\/li>
    • Personal data such as name, address or contact details are never transmitted to Google Analytics.<\/li><\/ul>

      This data is transferred to Google servers in the USA. We would like to point out that the same level of protection under data protection law cannot be guaranteed in the USA as within the EU.<\/p>

      Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID with which you can be recognised on future visits to the website.<\/p>

      The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which makes it possible to analyse pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form indefinitely.<\/p>

We have configured these elements so that they are deactivated by default. If you activate them (by clicking on them), the operators of the respective social networks can register that you are on our website and where and can use this information for their purposes. The processing of your personal data is then the responsibility of this operator in accordance with its data protection provisions.
